Plastic Injection Moulding

In the plastic injection moulding process, plastic pellets are melted and when they attain a semi-solid state are injected at a certain pressure into the mould cavity. The mould cavity is filled and solidifies eventually producing the finished product. The plastic pellets are usually thermosetting/thermoplastic polymers.

This plastic injection moulding method is particularly suitable for mass production of components as well as for those components which have complex or intricate shapes.
